Building Confident Readers with Expert Guidance
At the Literacy Intervention and Tutoring Center, my mission is to nurture literacy skills in children from kindergarten through high school. I am dedicated to supporting students with dyslexia and other reading challenges through personalized, evidence-based programs. My vision is to create a community where every child gains the confidence and skills to succeed in literacy and beyond.
Take Flight
Take Flight is a multisensory, Orton Gillingham-based reading intervention that was created to serve those with dyslexia (a learning difference that effects between 10-20% of the population). It can only be taught by a CALT (Certified Academic Language Therapist) who has been fully trained in the program as well as all aspects of dyslexia.

Students who completed Take Flight demonstrated substantial growth across all reading skill areas. Researchers followed up with these students a year later and found their progress had continued.
